Do Your Homework

We encourage you to review our website to understand what we do and what we value in a Terra team member. To accomplish this, we suggest you read through the Careers, Solutions and Newsroom pages.

Apply Online

Once you apply for a job using our job application system, your qualifications and experience will be reviewed by a member of our Human Resources Team. Many of our positions require applicants to complete a job-specific assessment for full consideration. You will be notified if the position you have applied to requires such an assessment.

Phone Interview(s)

If you are a possible match for the position, Human Resources will contact you to learn more about your background as well as answer questions about our hiring process and what it's like to work at Terra. Additional phone interviews, conducted by members of the department for which you are applying, may be required to further assess your skills and determine next steps in the interview process. Phone interviews typically last 30 – 60 minutes each.

On-site Interview

If you are identified as a final candidate, you will be invited to visit Terra for face-to-face interviews. The interview process is constructed to allow both you and a cross section of Terra team members to meet and discuss various aspects of the position. The interview may include technical problem solving related to the role for which you have applied. The ability to logically think through a problem is half the battle – bring your thinking cap!

Candidate Review/Selection

At Terra, we make consensus-based decisions reflective of the collaborative environment in which we work. Hiring is a serious matter because our employees are our most important asset. Terra makes every effort to reach a decision in a timely manner and we ask for your cooperation during this process. Human Resources will notify you of the outcome of your candidacy for the position for which you interviewed.
